As a dog owner myself, I know that pets are family. When I spend time with your pet at your house or on a walk, I approach my care with that very thought: I’m helping you ensure that your family member is safe & loved while you are away. Active Rover experience: multi pet households (1-4 cats/dogs), hamsters, bunnies, parrots for overnight/drop-in short term and extended care With both dogs & cats, I always pay attention to their body language, respect their routine and preferences and will always use animal-first, positive reinforcement in my communication. Having raised and trained 2 rescue dogs in the past 3 years, I’m confident in my ability to get along with your pet and provide necessary care & attention while having fun.

This was our first time doing a house/dog-sitting through Rover and Daria was great! She gave us regular updates and kept our two dogs loved and safe for a few days while had a much needed getaway. After a couple of bad boarding experiences in the past year, it was such a relief to come home to happy healthy dogs. We would definitely hire Daria again.

- I work from home, so I can spend time with your pet during the day - I am comfortable administering medicine, but not shots (open to learn) - On a walk, I continuously scan the environment and prefer to have treats that your pet will respond to if I need to divert them from a trigger; - I will walk your pet for an agreed amount of time and on your preferred route if you have one; - I will ask you about your pet’s triggers and discuss with you strategies to manage them; - I do not walk dog without a leash in ungated environments or if the dog doesn’t have a strong recall success

A typical day
I will cuddle, play, provide intellectual/mental enrichment activities for your dogs or light command training. We will walk where the dog feels most comfortable: I usually don’t take the dog to new places so we don’t additional stress on top of being away from their pawrents.

Availability
I work from home, so my schedule is flexible when I have enough notice to plan ahead. My evenings and weekends are generally available as well. I do have recurring evening or weekend commitments where I’m away for 2-3 hours (sport, family).
