Help me get my doggy fix!
Pet care experience
My love of dogs began with my Collie/Husky rescue (Candy) when I was young. For the last 22 years I have owned dogs, trained/raised puppies, cared for friends’ dogs, etc. They bring so much life to a home! I don’t currently own a dog, so I thought this would be a perfect way to get my doggy fix. I’m an avid daily walker and I stay home - so I love being active & have an open & flexible schedule! My children are 21 & 17 so I have a lot of free time. And….I’m very organized and a total neat freak, so following instructions, keeping your home tidy during my drop-in is no problem! I have been married 25 years and my passions are gardening, interior design, my darling children & animals!

From what I’ve seen between Darcy and her dogs I would want mine to be in her care if the occasion ever arose. Leaving your pets with someone is like leaving your kids. I can easily say she is a responsible and loving pet caregiver.
Darcy is a loving, energetic, intelligent and compassionate woman whom I have known for many years. She is a lover of animals but most especially dogs. I have seen Darcy with her own pets as well as those of others. She has years of knowledge and experience to care for your pet. What has stood out to me when observing her with animals is her genuine kindness and patience while being aware of their needs.

I have a large home in East Moreland (with a fenced yard) on the beautiful winding road along the golf course. It’s a perfect neighborhood for dog walking. If you’re ok with it, we allow dogs on our furniture because we all love doggy cuddles! When I visit your home I will follow all instructions specific to your environment and give your dog lots of love & attention.

My schedule is wide open! My teen leaves for school at 8:15, but I can be available earlier if needed. I’m very flexible. I need to fill my empty nesting hours!
