I've owned dogs and cats my entire adult life. Currently have a large breed dog and two cats. Yow will find me energetic, reliable and conscientious.

Darcy has taken care of my dogs numerous times and they have always come back happy and exhausted. She also provided daycare to my Golden when he was a puppy. Darcy is reliable and trustworthy and I can't recommend her highly enough.
Darcy is amazing and I would highly recommend her to anyone. I have a nervous German Shepherd and Darcy was so gentle and slow to make sure my girl was comfortable and her dog Taylor did a wonderful meet and greet. She sent pictures and updates everyday to make sure I knew how my dog was getting on since my girl is a rescue and hasn't been away from me much. I cant thank Darcy enough for making me and my dog feel comfortable and happy.
My sister has had pets all her life and is an amazing owner. Her animals have always been well trained and healthy have have always been loving pets. I think she would make a great sitter for other peoples animals.
Darcy is one of the most genuine and caring people I have even known. Her kindness shows in everything she does. She is patient, loving and VERY THOUGHTFUL. In all of the years I have known her I have not found a creature that she didn't love...no matter how difficult they were. Darcy is a rare gem.

I own my home and have a fenced yard. My dog is large, extremely friendly and gentle. I will accept only one booking for boarding services at a time to enable sufficient attention to your pet(s).

Your pet's general schedule (walks, feeding, going outside, sleep) and how he/she indicates needs. Friendliness to other dogs/cats. Friendliness to people. Any destructive or excessive barking behaviors and how you generally manage those.
A typical day
My dog gets let out as soon as I get up. I make coffee and feed the dog. Cats are all on automatic feeders which release food 4x/day. Take dog for 20-30 minute walk before heading out for a bike ride or starting chores. I live is a lovely neighborhood with lots of sidewalks and open space to walk. I feed my dog 3x/day goes outside to hang out in the sun as often as he likes and then good late afternoon or evening walk. A few times a week we go to a park with grass and throw the ball.

I am retired from a career in Information Technology. My schedule is flexible to meet your needs. I am up early and take my dog for several walks each day.
