Pet care experience
I'm an independent writer and editor who works from home with my easygoing terrier Travis. We go out for walks, runs, and potty breaks like clockwork every four hours and enjoy plenty of exercise. Kingsman Field Dog Park and the Arboretum are our favorite hangouts. Your pet will get snuggles all day, and if your dog needs extra exercise, I run regularly and welcome a companions if they'd like to sprint a mile. My dog, Travis, is my constant friend, a jolly fellow who doesn't have a mean bone in his body and never meets a stranger. He LOVES all dogs, even big dogs, and is sure to make your pooch feel at home. I'm looking forward to him having another dog to pal around with.

Darcy is wonderful! She and her dog, Travis, have taken great care of my cockapoo puppy, Barbie. Darcy has been invaluable in helping us housetrain Barbie and teach her basic commands. When we first got Barbie, she was very shy. Travis has really helped Barbie come out of her shell!
Darcy is the perfect dog sitter! She is dependable, diligent, caring and, most importantly, really really loves dogs. She took really good care of our dogs while we were away for 3 days. She sent pictures and updated us daily. Usually when we are away from our dogs for a large period of time, our dogs get tense and stressed. However, when we got back from our trip, the dogs were very happy and cheerful. This goes to show how good Darcy treated our dogs. I would definitely recommend Darcy.
Darcy loves animals. She grew up with horses, goats, chickens, cats, and dogs and loves caring for them. She also really enjoys being outdoors. Whether in the city, suburbs, or countryside, she likes to work a walk into wherever she's going. She's also one of the most decent people I know: observant, fair, and kind.
Darcy is a loving and extremely conscientious pet sitter. I have left dogs (I have a small neurotic terrier rescue with abandonment issues) and cats in her care, both at her home and at mine, and am impressed with the individualized attention she gives to each pet's needs. I always feel the utmost confidence when Darcy is taking care of my pets. She has even managed to revive a couple of my ailing house plants. You can't do better than hire Darcy.

I'm not qualified to care for a seriously sick animal, but I am comfortable administering oral medication--I grew up on a farm where helping to doctor animals was routine, so show me your methods and we should be fine.
A typical day
Since I work from home, your pup and I will be together all day. I'm an active person, so your dog and I will go on two long walks per day--appropriate to your dog's age and energy level--with as many potty breaks as our furry friend would like. Your dog will enjoy lots of affirming belly scratches and Scooby snacks, and is welcome to sleep in my bed.
