I love animals and they love me. I have spent my life raising and living with cats and dogs. I can train puppies or provide senior animal care. I am comfortable with all size of dogs and breeds.

Darcie did an amazing job taking care of our stubborn St Bernard, Ketty. She was so kind and patient with Ketty and gave her time to explore the house and get comfortable. Ketty doesn't typically eat when boarded, but she actually ate the first night, which tells me that Darcie made her feel safe and comfortable. Also, Darcie's dog is super friendly and wanted to play with Ketty right away. Highly recommend.
Darcie has always made it a mission to research and look into any animal that is in her care. She likes to be informed and prepared, so she can give them the best care. Darcie has watched my dog, Bear, many times and he always comes home refreshed and happy. She is such a kind and loving person, who puts the needs of others and pets, before her own. She is the perfect candidate to watch anyone’s fur baby.

Any pet joining our home will have a choice. If your pet prefers to be the only pet it will have its own floor with toys and a plush bed (crate or not-you decide). If your pet wants to hang out with us and our 3-year-old very well behaved and friendly golden retriever, then they will have free range of two floors of our home. I am outside daily walking our dog or just around our 1-acre yard. Your dog will receive 2 walks during a 24-hour period and plenty of supervised outside time if they want. And let’s not forget cuddles.

A typical day
A morning 30 minute walk before breakfast. Some play with your pet several times during the day. A 30 minute walk before dinner. If your pet likes to play with other pets, then we will incorporate that into the routine. Lots of love and cuddles!

Availability
I work full time but work from home most days and have a lot of flexibility in my schedule. On days I go to work, I will walk your dog and provide potty breaks every few hours. On weekends, my husband and I love to be outside and will walk your dog on local trails.
