It's all about family at our house! When your dog(s) come to our house, they are treated like part of our family! We have been sitting for Rover since 2015. Our family consists of me, my husband, and our 2 girls (age 6 & 4) our dogs-Teddy (11), Maizie May (1), and Buster (puppy). Teddy is a high maintenance Golden Retriever that doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. He truly is the sweetest dog. He has been through 7 surgeries (foreign body removal--sock thief), so I'm quite familiar with medication administration. We believe dogs should be spoiled rotten! All of our dogs (resident and temporary) are allowed on the couches and Teddy usually sleeps with us. All of our visiting dogs receive the same spoiled treatment that our own dogs receive. We provide boarding services because I would much rather have a dog stay with us than in a kennel while their owner is away. We use Rover ourselves when we go out of town and have been very happy. We have a large fenced yard with a 6-ft fence with padlocked gates so no one escapes. We also have an in-ground pool that the dogs are allowed to swim in during the summer, but it is fenced and locked when not in use. The pool also has doggy steps for allow easy exit for our puppers. When your dog stays with us, they are included in our family routine-- they will be invited to play with us, join us for story time, walks in the neighborhood, picking the kids up from school-- all activities we do, we try to include the dogs (yours and ours!) Our dogs are part of our family. They receive lots of spoiling, treats and lots of pets! Maizie & Buster rough house and chase each other non-stop. Teddy can’t be trusted with soft toys, so most of our dog toys are nylabones, antlers and tennis balls. Because we have 2 small children, we are only taking clients who are comfortable and familiar with kids.
