Pet care experience
I have been taking care of animals in some capacity for many years. Whether it has been taking care of my own pets, dog grooming, 4H, or as a vet tech, I have always had animals in my life. I have owned many cats and dogs during my life. Now that I have more time available, I would love to take care of your animals. My home is currently pet free, but pet friendly. I also have the ability to come to you. I have experience caring for elder pets, as well as administering medications as needed. I love all animals as if they are my own and can't wait to make some new animal friends.

Darcy might be new to Rover, but there’s nothing new about her passion for animals! She been our preferred pet sitter for a number of our pets over the years. Most recently for our beloved beagle mix Lucy. My husband and I are retired now and we love to travel - I can’t tell you how comforted we are knowing Lucy is having her own adventures back home with Darcy. Darcy is competent, responsive and simple ‘all in’ when she’s caring for our little Lucy.
I have known Darcy for 55 years. She has always loved dogs and worked for a long time in a local kennel and also a veterinarian's where she was greatly appreciated and respected. There were times when my two dogs I had in the past needed looking after when I was away for a long period of time and I knew I could always rely on Darcy. She would make a wonderful addition for your Rover company.
Darcia has over 50 years experience working with animals beginning with 4H Dog club and then as a vet tech. She's great with all animals but especially dogs. Mine are crazy about her !
I have know Darcia for over 50 years. Her experience with animals is unparalleled. Besides her own many animals that she loved and took care of she was also a very compassionate employee at an animal hospital. I even entrusted her with the care of my grandmother when I was away! Could not ask for a better care giver!

I used to work as a vet tech so I’m pretty observant about noticing when something is wrong. I would request a copy of your animals routine, emergency contacts and info. I would also like to know what makes your animal happy and also anything that upsets them. It would be helpful to know what is allowed and not allowed such as jumping on the couch, begging for people food … Can’t wait to meet your pets!
A typical day
I love long walks and do so everyday . Would love to have a companion. I love playing ball and I’m pretty good at teaching dogs new fun tricks if allowed

I am currently retired and have my days and nights available for your pets. I am in a quiet neighborhood for walks and also close to major highways to travel to you with a dependable car.
