Hi there! I'm Dara, and I can't wait to meet you and your dog! I'm experienced, passionate and knowledgable, so you can feel comfortable leaving your dog with me! No matter what you need, a quick check in, a walk or an overnight visitor, I can ensure that your dog is well cared for. I have been an elementary educator for over 23 years and dog trainer for 10 years. Currently, I am an accredited, full-time trainer for Petsmart and an AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Evaluator. I consider it a privilege to be able to help pet parents build strong bonds with their dogs while creating patterns of good behavior for a happy, healthy life. Furthermore, I have devoted a large part of my life fostering cats and dogs for animal rescue organizations, in both Florida and Virginia. The care and welfare of animals has been my passion for as long as I can remember. I love learning about their unique personalities and it's wonderful to see them find their forever homes. I am extremely trustworthy and knowledgeable. I will care for your pet(s) as if there were my own. I have extensive experiences with animal care which enables me to administer injections and other medications, as well as perform the Heimlich Maneuver and CPR for dogs. I am very excited about meeting new people and pets. Working with animals is more than a business, it is my passion! I am so excited to meet you and your dog.

Dara took excellent care of our two dogs. She sent us pictures, texts and emails updating us on how things were going. Not that we expected it or that it was part of the job, but she also left the house immaculate. You wouldn't even know she'd stayed over. I'm obsessed! Dara is the amazing person and dog sitter. My babies are older and have a lot of meds to take and she was very patient with us and the babies. She sent me pictures of the babies having the best time. My boy felt so comfortable with her that he jumped up on the bed and cuddled with her. If you are looking for someone you can trust please please please stop looking Dara is most definitely the one you want. There are not enough words to explain how amazing it was knowing I was leaving the babies with such an outstanding person. She is now known in my house as Tia Dara (Auntie Dara). Totally recommend her a thousand times over!

If your looking for a professional dog/ house sitter Dara is absolutely the one to pick . Not only is she mature, honest, dependable etc etc she's a licensed dog trainer . We were done for 2 weeks and handled every issue that arose ( dogs cyst decided to get infected while we were away) she immediately texted is and brought our baby to the vet . She then administered the medicine . It was so nice to leave the country without a worry about the house or animals. I failed to mention 1 of our animals was a puppy. Thank you Dara
