I love to work with animals, and dogs are my all time favorite. My biggest thing is to make sure that the dog knows that I am friend who has energy levels that matches theirs. It's what keeps the bond between the dog and I exciting. In the past I have owned a black labrador, a golden retriever, and over time, at least 4 pit bulls. I have also taken care of pets for mentors and other family members who needed last minute sitters. Though I do not consider myself a professional, I did train my own dogs from when they were pups. The last dog that I trained, she did so well in training, that she knew what I wanted with a single gesture.
