Pet care experience
I've had Border Collies and/or Australian Shepherds my entire life and have come to love their endless energy and love. I've housesat for neighbors, friends and family who have cats and dogs of all ages. I've done both agility and obedience training with my own pets as well. Pets are definitely part of my daily routine! I've also had 2 hedgehogs and would love to care for any hedgies!

Daphne took care of our older dog for one week. Daphen was professional, kind and felt at peace that I know my angel boy was in good hands. Daphne send pictures and video and answer all your questions when needed. I definitely recommend Daphne for a dog sitter.

I currently live in a pet-friendly condo with a balcony with my parents in Vic West and while it doesn't have a yard, it's right next to walking trails and parks. On the other hand, I have a car and can easily housesit if you'd prefer anywhere is the greater Victoria area. Whatever would make your pet most comfortable!

A typical day
I love to go hiking either at Thetis Lake or Mount Douglas. For daily walks, I usually go to Dallas road or the Songhees walkway. For any couch potato companions, I'm always up for a day in with snuggles galore!

Availability
I work remotely for a software company based in Montreal so I'm always around to supervise, play with and care for any pets I'm watching. As a bonus, East Coast working hours means there's always time left in the day for walks and the early morning potty breaks are no problem. I'm also pretty active and love hiking, so it's easy to make sure your energetic companion gets the exercise and fun they need.
