Pet care experience
I have had pets my entire life. I thought I was a cat person until I had a dog. I have taken care of a senior dog and a senior cat in their sunset moments. I believe that pets communicate with us in many ways, and I work hard to understand their needs.

Daphne is likely the best house and cat sitter we have worked with. She’s communicative, clean, and loved our cat Milo very much. She took such great care of her and we’re very grateful to have worked with Daphne.
Hired Daphne for house sitting over a 2-week period to care for my two dogs a little less than a week before I was scheduled to leave (ran into an issue with my original plans). She was fantastic throughout the initial booking process (being under a time crunch) and beyond. She sent photos/updates of the dogs and anything else that happened to be going on as needed throughout the stay. She went above and beyond for home care - I came back to very happy dogs, the house clean (a typical struggle with two dogs that love dirt and creating messes of shredded toys and more), a final written update, bedding laundry done/ready to replace, and a final reach out of if I had any questions about anything. I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone going away for any period of time, she was great!
Daphne loves animals. She has cared for my pets and I couldn’t have been more pleased with the attention she gave them and the attention to detail she showed in general. She is trustworthy and goes above and beyond. We highly recommend Daphne!

I will be happy to travel to your home and/or help with pickup/drop off to your daycare. If your pet has specific feeding /walking schedules, please provide details. I will do my best to provide your pet(s) consistency of care.

A typical day
If your dog has a favorite dog park or trail, I will be happy to go on an adventure with them. If they prefer to be home and run about in the yard, or your cats need a warm lap or a neck scratch while you’re away, I will be happy to oblige.

Availability
I work full time in Lewiston, Maine. Monday- Friday plus some ad-hoc evening and weekend hours throughout the school year. I have increased availability from June 15- August 15.
