Meet Your Pet’s (2nd) Best Friend
Pet care experience
I grew up taking care of the family animals which included two dogs, four cats, a bunch of hamsters, and two lizards. Now as an adult, I am the proud father of a five-year-old rescue who solely relies on me to walk her, feed her, and bathe her (which I do without hesitation). We both trained at Petco where I quickly learned it was more for the owner than the pet (lol). I have a great sense of calm and control around animals and they seem to respond to my empathic nature quite well.

Dante has watched our dog more times than I can count and there’s no one we trust more. Dante is reliable, responsible and prompt. He’s well organized and most importantly a caring and loving pet owner himself. Seeing dante with both our dog and his own, any pet is undoubtedly in good hands with Dante.
I have never met another person more dedicated to their pets health and well being. His dog is more than a dog. She is a companion and valued member of his family. He cares for the whole dog including wellness, illness, mental health, comforts, physical health and exercise. His efforts to provide for her are evident as she is one of the happiest dogs I've ever met when she is with him.
We have two Harriers that Dante has worked with for the past ten years! John and George were rescues and Dante has taken the time to get to know their individual personalities as well as their likes and dislikes. He has been a reliable dog-sitter and dog walker. The boys feel comfortable with him, and we do as well!
Dante loves all dogs and understands their different needs, quirks and demands. He understands breeds and specific exercise needs, safety on walks and in the home and has the energy necessary to make a dog feel cared for. He had water for my dog right away and looked out for the hot pavement to protect his little paws. He’s reliable, on time, attentive and trustworthy. I highly recommend him!

My pet is treated more like a roommate in my home. Since she’s only 10lbs, her toys are rather small, so she has a little bin by the couch. And she has multiple dog beds (although she prefers sitting on her couch pillow). I always have water out and replenish it throughout the day so it’s as fresh as possible. When we can’t make it out for a walk, I also have artificial grass in the back of my bungalow where she can do her business (which is always cleaned up immediately). When visiting a client's home, I always replenish any/all water as well as clean up any accidents inside should they occur. I always ask the owner about meals, treats, medication, and walking/exercise routine before each visit and try to give as much care and attention to the pet for the entire duration of my visit.

In order to provide the best experience possible for the pet, parent(s), and myself, I need to know if any meds are required during the duration of my visit as well as the general temperament of the pet, previous surgeries, and/or past physical altercations.
A typical day
I strive to make each walk and/or visit as individual as possible. If your pet needs tons of exercise and playtime, I know a bunch of great parks around Los Angeles for us to both let loose in the sun. If your pet prefers a lowkey experience, I will give them the space while attending to their needs, whether it be snuggles, belly rubs, or their favorite treat. Photos can be texted to keep parents updated and I always make sure pets are well hydrated and use the bathroom before our time comes to an end.

Availability
I currently work from home as a freelance writer, so I spend most of my day/week alone, save for my five-year-old Chiweenie, Dakota. We're up early every morning, starting every day with a walk around the neighborhood, followed by breakfast, and tons of tummy rubs. We love spending free time outside in and around Los Angeles as well as visiting the many dog parks for a chance to socialize with other pups (and humans).
