I am an avid animal lover, and have had pets at every point in my life (even if some of them were just temporary adoptions of friend's/family's pets!) While I do not currently have any dogs of my own, I have one lovely cat that I look forward to playing with and snuggling every day. I have experience with reptiles, fish, and small animals as well. Scaly and slimy creatures don't scare me in the slightest! I am currently working as a website designer and work from home with flexible hours. My schedule is usually pretty easy to adapt to your needs, although I do appreciate as much advanced notice as possible when it comes to housesitting, and always would prefer to do a meet-and-greet if possible. Communication is key to a good relationship, so I prioritize being open and forward with any issues that may arise, as well as any changes, however minor, that may affect my clients. I enjoy spending quality time with animals, and learning each of their unique personalities! I'm equally happy doling out pets and affection, playing their favorite games, or just figuring out what gets their tail wagging. Or, if your pet is a little shy, I will take the time to get to know them to make them more comfortable with my presence. Having spent a lot of time with dogs, cats, and other animals from unfortunate circumstances has given me a lot of patience and understanding in the face of difficult behavior problems. With your guidance, I'm happy to help provide consistent training cues and adapt to each animal's particular personality and needs!
