Pet care experience
I love spending time with dogs! I’ve had several of my own dogs over the years and am the go-to dogsitter for many of my friends. I have experience working with puppies and seniors, as well as dogs with anxiety and reactivity issues. I’m able to administer medications (pills/eye drops) as needed.
Reviews
Dannah was such a caring sitter for our boy Rex. She sent tons of pictures and lots of communication. They went for many adventures and Rex had a wonderful time. He was in the best hands with Dannah and will miss her and Elphie terribly.
You cannot do better than Dannah as a dog-sitter! She is so knowledgeable and so attuned to doggy dynamics. My dog, Dima, is older and mellow and introverted, and Dannah did a great job of both encouraging her socializing with the two other dogs present and giving her space to do her own thing. As for basic attentiveness to food, exercise, health, I never doubted for a second that Dima was in incredibly competent hands. Highly recommend Dannah!
Dannah and her dog Elphie are the best sitters! Dannah is very communicative and trustworthy. My dog is now best buddies with Elphie. She gets lots of exercise and attention when she stays with them. I always feel my dog is safe and well cared for. Dannah sends daily photos and videos of the dogs playing and cuddling together!
Mocha loves it there

Safety, trust & environment
I have a large fenced yard for playtime/potty breaks and typically take dogs for 1-2 walks per day, according to their needs. My dog, Elphie, is very gentle and friendly, and loves to have other dogs over. I specialize in providing care for small dogs, but can also accommodate larger dogs as long as they are gentle and friendly with small dogs. I’ve chosen to provide care for a small number of dogs at any given time; my maximum is 3 dogs plus my own dog. This allows me to give each dog lots of individualized attention and to keep a close eye on all the dogs to make sure they are getting along well with each other. For the safety of my own dog and other dogs I care for in my home, I do not currently provide boarding or daycare for dogs who have a history of biting other dogs. All dogs must be up-to-date on vaccinations and not currently ill with any communicable disease. I’m very mindful of the health and safety of all dogs in my care and want to make sure that everyone has a great experience!

Information Dannah D. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know in advance about any health problems or behavioral issues that your dog has, so that I can ensure that all dogs in my home have a great experience here. I’d like to know the details of their daily routines at home (when/how much do they eat, how many walks/potty breaks do they normally get, etc) so that I can provide continuity with their normal daily routine. I’d also like to hear about their favorite toys, games, treats, and activities!
A typical day
If you’d like for your dog to go for a walk, I can take them around my neighborhood, to Brown Avenue Park (down the street from me), or to Milton State Park (just a few minutes’ drive away). They can also roam around and play in my fenced backyard or sunbathe in the dog beds on the porch. I also am happy to play fetch or tug with dogs and to set them up with puzzle toys if that’s something they enjoy! I love taking pictures of dogs, so you can expect to receive lots of cute photo updates.
