I can no longer offer my services as a companion and caretaker of local snobby dogs and there owners Pikesville! I am completely booked... I am a mature, dependable natural care taker who instinctively knows the needs of our domesticated animals. Having a pet is a huge responsibility that often requires outside help. I had the privilege of managing Paws Premium Doggie daycare in Pikesville Maryland for 3 years. Caring for dogs that are well cared for - satisfies my soul in a way that no other “job” has done. Dogs require different care depending on their age, size and breed. Some fur babies need extra special care that would or could include administrating medications. My background also includes 10 years as a lead Veterinary Assistant for an animal emergency hospital. It was there, that I began to understand doggie behavior and our pet’s needs during each stage of life (Puppy, adult and senior). It is hard on a dog when their people or routine changes. It is hard on a dog to be in a kennel alone for 8 hours. It is hard on their bladders and it effects their development and social skills. From puppy to senior dogs thrive in an environment of routine that includes love, positive reinforcement, training, exercise, and being socialized. As your – dog walker, I will ensure to make the most of my time with your dog or dog(s). Therefore, I will need the leash and collar or harness in the same location each visit. I will ensure that the water is clean and fresh. I will note any strange or foreign elements observed in stool and will properly dispose of waste during regular, routine, neighborhood walks. I understand firsthand how hard it is on pets when their owners cannot be with them. I also understand it is equally hard on us when we cannot be with our fur babies. With me as your dog(s) overnight companion you can be assured that all detailed instructions of care will be followed. To include regular scheduled feedings and potty breaks. I will provide owners with a daily updates that may include pictures or videos. It is not uncommon for me to be found having a full on conversations with the pets I have cared for. It always tickles me when they react in manner of acknowledgement during our talks. I look forward to the opportunity to care for the health and well being of your four legged family members!
