In addition to operating Double D Luxury Home Pet & Plant Care in Summit County alongside my partner David, my personal journey with pets has been deeply ingrained since childhood. Raised alongside a beautiful Collie named Midnight, I've always had a profound connection with animals. Since 2008, I've shared my home and affection with Eddie Bo, my cherished Labrador. Sadly, both Midnight and Eddie Bo have passed away, and my current living situation doesn't permit pets, though my heart still longs for their presence. Since the spring of 2020, I've been extending my pet care services to friends and family in the Summit County, CO area. This expansion has allowed me to indulge in my passion for animals while providing a valuable service to the community. My experiences have been diverse, from caring for the incredibly intelligent poodle, Alvin, in Breckenridge, to looking after a swift Belgian Malinois in Montezuma, and spending quality time with a large, affectionate Bernese Mountain/St. Bernard/Pyrenees mix in Summit Cove. My last assignment in Dillon involved boarding two delightful Australian Shepherds, Bo and Crush, for a Silverthorne family. My primary goal is to ensure homeowners can travel or be away from their homes with absolute peace of mind. We offer a comprehensive range of services designed to meet the unique needs of each pet and homeowner. Our services include providing nutritious meals, administering medication when necessary, engaging in exercise and playtime, taking care of potty breaks and extended walks, maintaining clean litter boxes for cats, and ensuring overall comfort and well-being for all pets under our care. With our dedication to providing top-notch care and attention to detail, our clients can rest assured that their beloved pets are in capable hands while they're away. We strive to exceed expectations and make every pet feel loved and cherished during their time with us.

Danielle and David took such great care of Stella and our house while we were away on vacation. I received plenty of photos and videos of Stella doing all of her favorite things: hiking, playing with toys, cuddling, and even eating ice. It gave me such great peace of mind to know Stella was not only safe but also happy and loved. Danielle went above and beyond and even diagnosed the health of my plants while she was there. She left the house super clean when they left, too. I will definitely be using Danielle and David again for future pet-watching needs!
Danielle is most kind, efficient, prompt, respectful and trustworthy. My Golden Retriever, Archie, loves her. He was having some stomach issues, and she walked him until it was resolved. I look forward to having her take care of Archie in the future. I would not hesitate to call her.
One thing is certain, Danielle loves animals and has a fondness for our two high energy Aussie Shepherds. After she took meticulous care of them whenever they would see Danielle out and about they would immediately recognize her and proceed into the full butt wiggles. When heading out of town we feel comfortable that Danielle will treat our pups like a part of her family, just as they're accustomed. We have total confidence in her ability to not only care for but entertain, exercise and play with our dogs. They are high energy and she handles it well with lots of fun. We trust her and she is a complete professional.

Kindly inform me of any special needs or behaviors your pets may have. My preferred dog is well-behaved, doesn't bark excessively, and is friendly towards other animals and people. While I have a deep affection for cats, unfortunately, I'm allergic to their dander, making it impossible for me to stay overnight at your house. Nevertheless, I'm more than willing to handle tasks such as feeding, playing, cuddling, or attending to a litter box if required.
A typical day
Take dogs for walks in parks or trails. Play fetch in a secure area for dogs. Explore new environments for stimulation. Use puzzle feeders for mental stimulation. Engage in tug-of-war or fetch. Play with interactive toys for cats. Teach pets tricks with positive reinforcement. Reinforce basic commands with treats and praise. Strengthen the bond through training. Spend quality time petting and cuddling. Read or watch TV together. Build a connection through affection. Brush coats for dogs or cats. Provide gentle baths if suitable. Hide treats for them to find. Capture adorable moments. Share photos with the owners. Check for dietary preferences. Allow quiet time for relaxation. Provide a cozy spot for resting.
