Hello and welcome to my profile! I am a canine caregiver with over 10 years of diverse experience under her belt who simply does not feel whole without having dogs in her life. Having grown up with a Daschund, I am knowledgeable about the responsibilities associated with caring for dogs suffering from back problems and general aggression and anxiety issues towards other canines. However, I am also familiar with socializing (in dog parks and otherwise) and training puppies, having recently cared for a shelter puppy from the ages of 2 months to 6 months. I am therefore familiar with puppy crate and general training, as well as health issues including kennel cough, worms, and genital irritation, most frequently afflicting shelter dogs. I have also had direct and prolonged experience caring for my families Chinese Crested who was diagnosed with kidney failure several months ago. Besides spoon feeding, medicating, and taking him for his veterinary visits, I have also had experience with the specialized meal prep, grooming, pampering and attention required by Chinese Cresteds generally. However, my experience is not limited to small, anxious, or aggressive dogs. I have also had the opportunity to board a wonderfully friendly and sweet 7-year-old lab for over a month (see testimonials) with whom I took trips to different parks and hiking trails and who I cared for during his recovery from knee surgery. Thus, I am an experienced caregiver familiar with a number of different breeds, ailments, and restrictions. I am able to provide your canine companion with any specialized care and attention they may need and to report back regularly and promptly with any and all updates during my time spent with your pupper.
