Pet care experience
Boarding: We moved June 2023 to a bigger house-- we just built our fence April 17th so I'm turning rover back on! My boyfriend and I would love to offer our house as a boarding place for your furry friend. We currently have 3 cats that are dog-friendly to varying degrees so your dog would have to be cat-friendly. My boyfriend works outside our home M-F while I have a hybrid work environment where I work from home 4 days a week and go to the office 1 day a week. On days where I go into the office your dog will be kenneled while I am gone to mitigate any possible negative interactions between them and our cats. We have a large fenced-in yard with the shortest fencing being 5 ft tall so if your dog is a jumper they will be placed on a tie cable.
Reviews
Danielle took great care of Finley. She administered oral medication as requested, was responsive, and sent us some fun videos.
Danielle took great care of Pepper. She clearly got plenty of attention, and when my trip was going to run longer than expected, she was able to accommodate. Pepper was in good hands ? Thanks!
Great communication, flexible. Our dog had a great time!
Danielle was excellent. Very responsive and sent lots of pictures of my pet.

Specifics depend on temperament of the dog. If the dog is chill and won't harass my cats they'll have free roam of the house except the litter box room-- those tootsie rolls tend to be too tempting for most dogs and I like to provide 1 room where the cats can get away. If they tend to pick on the cats they'll have supervised access with nights spent in their kennel. I love dog snuggles and just hanging out but I'm also game for going to the dog park and throwing a ball etc around.

Information Danielle S. would like to know about your pet
Knowing the level of prey drive and whether they are friendly with other animals is very important to me-- knowing if there are any medical conditions or triggers I need to watch out for is also important.
A typical day
On office days I'm up at 5 am and out the door by 6 -- in that hour the dog(s) will be let outside, fed, then go out again until my boyfriend brings them in before he leaves at 6:30 where he will kennel and provide a treat. When I get home -typically by 330- it's out to potty then exercise, food, and wind down. On days I work from home I'm up at 6 and on the computer by 630, first potty break and breakfast will happen before I log on. We'll hang out all day and frequent bathroom breaks shall be had as I like to take breaks away from my computer. Evenings are the same all week. Weekends are spent primarily at home but if errands need to be ran the dog(s) will be kenneled while we're out.

As a cat owner pet care is a constant thing for me-- there is always something that needs to be done. I like the challenge of adding a different species and working their needs into my routine -- it helps keep life interesting!
