As I accept only one dog at a time, I accept dogs that don’t get along with other dogs or that are just more comfortable without other pets present. Our household is quiet and calm, so shy and gentle dogs are able to relax. If your dog loves walks, well, so do I! I generally walk about 10-20 miles a week and love to get outside multiple times a day. Since I work from home and sit a lot while working, I would actually welcome an excuse to get out even more often. Any dog I sit would get lots of walks and attention. Of course, if your dog is more homebody than distance walker, I am happy to take them on gentle strolls. I live in a condominium complex that has a large communal greenspace, and it's located in a great walking neighborhood. Our home has plenty of space for a crate if your dog uses one. We have a large, comfortable chair that almost every dog adopts as 'their' chair, haha. My sincere love for all animals drives my conscientiousness about their care and welfare. I know pets become a beloved part of the family, and to be entrusted with one is a great responsibility and privilege.
