Hi, my name is Danielle! I can provide care for small/exotic pets at a negotiated rate. I have had dogs, cats, and rabbits my whole life, and intermittently had rodents and chickens. I've got an extensive network of friends and family around the state and often pet sit when they travel. I've administered oral and topical medications to dogs and cats. I know it's important to be calm and respectful when earning the trust of pets and their people. I am detail-oriented and happy to keep you updated each time I care for your pet!

Danielle is one of the most responsible, sweet and caring people I know! First of all she loves all living things, and advocates for their well being and safety every chance she gets. She also is very responsible, I worked with her while in college and she so dillegent. Got all her work done, made sure other worked hard and followed rules, and went above and beyond every day.

I have a calm temperament and do not impose upon an animal's space if they are feeling uncomfortable or standoffish. I've met many friendly animals and many who prefer solitude. As a person who has cared for sick and senior animals, I know it can be particularly stressful when their parents are away. You can count on me to follow directions to a tee and keep you updated on details for each visit.

It's important for me to know your pet's likes and dislikes, routines and expectations. Your pet's specific needs are important to me. Is your pet blind, deaf, or experiencing mobility issues? Is your dog reactive to other dogs or people? Does your cat like to hide in a particular spot? Does your dog like to be chased around the yard? Does your bunny prefer parsley to kale? Any boundaries I should know about?
A typical day
I'm happy to walk dogs in my radius for the time and distance you specify. I know treats and positive reinforcement go a long way in building trusting relationships. I can offer limited jogging if your dog has higher energy. For cats, I love to be friendly and playful if they're interested in that, with all kinds of feathers, teasers, laser pointers, and more. And if your pet prefers cuddles over everything, I'm happy to shower them with that type of affection instead. I talk to pets pretty consistently during visits so they know I care!
