Pet care experience
I have always had pets growing up and lost my beloved Yorkie in 2018 at the age of 16. I started dog sitting in 2021 to cover holidays and long weekends. I have a lot of experience with smaller dogs, especially Yorkies and am familiar with the breeds quirks and health conditions.

Danielle was 11 years old when she largely contributed to buying her beloved Angel, a beautiful Yorkshire Terrier. Who she loved and cared for almost sixteen years.Sadly due to ill health we had to say our goodbyes to Angel on 26th April 2018. In October 2021 Danielle signed up to an organisation called Borrow My Doggie. Through this organisation she was able to support the owner of Oscar and Marley also Yorkshire Terriers. Starting off with weekends, then a full two weeks and when their owner went travelling for four months Danielle was able to help out along with the owner’s family and friends. Sadly Marley passed away 9th October 2023. Danielle is extremely committed and takes the responsibility of looking after someone else’s dog very seriously and gets immense pleasure from walking and taking good care of them.

I live in an apartment where other dogs reside which would mean any dogs staying at the apartment would need to be non reactive to go in the lift to go outside. Otherwise I sometimes stay at my parents house when pet sitting which has a secure garden which is 1/3 acre.

A typical day
I like to mix up walks, depending on weather and what is in the dogs best interests. I usually prefer to walk in big open fields or where there are likely to be no other dogs or distractions. I love to take photos of our walks. There is nothing better than a dogs smile!

Availability
I work Monday - Friday and go into the office 2/3 days a week. I am available for weekend boarding, sometimes on a Monday and Friday if I am working from home those days.
