My experience includes caring for a variety of dog breeds, large and small (i.e. chihuahua, husky, shepherds, pit bulls, terriers), as well as dogs with various health concerns, including diabetes (insulin shots and medication), Cushings disease, arthritis, as well as ER-related concerns, including poisoning.
Reviews
Danielle is awesome. Seriously. GD awesome. She comprises the best of the dog-sitting world: knowledgeable, kind, obsessed, and knows how to express an anal gland if you slip her a fiver. I help out with a local rescue in Seattle, and get a full rotation of random dogs in my house with a wide range of temperaments, ailments, loves, fears, etc. With Danielle, I have exploited her natural love of dogs countless times: "Danielle, watch this one for me while I'm out." "Danielle, I need somebody to feed this dog peanut-butter while I bathe it and check it for fleas." "Danielle, I'm sick of this dog today please hang out with it all day." "Danielle your lap is empty take this dog." Etc etc. But now she's not in Seattle, and I have more dogs, and the dogs are less fun and way more of a hassle because I don't have Danielle to be the go-to sitter/bather/cuddler/peanut-buttrice the time. But you, Rover.com user, can have her help you! I envy you all so very very very much.
Danielle was fantastic with our border collie puppy, Jax. He has a lot of energy, and some quirks. Dainelle asked a lot of questions about his care, and was able to keep up his routine. She provided great in-home care for him, and sent regular photo updates. She also charmed our 9 year old cat, Skyler. I highly recommend Danielle as a pet sitter.
