Full Time Homemaker, Secure Yard

Pet care experience

I'm a stay at home mom with my kids and pets. I absolutely love animals, always have. If I wasn't a homemaker, I'm sure I'd be somewhere working with animals. Since I can't do that, I would love to welcome your pet into my home and give it the attention it deserves while you are away. I can provide a happy, safe environment for your pet. I have a very large fenced in yard with six foot privacy fence and five foot chain link, which is perfect for dogs to let out their energy in. We can play fetch, or just take a casual walk. I will accommodate to your dog's schedule, and try to make him feel like this is just another piece of home. I'm home all day, every day, excepting for occasional errands that usually only happen twice a week. I do go to church on Sundays, so if I'm watching your pet on a Sunday you'd have to be alright with me being out the house for 4 hours. If you have a puppy that hasn't been housebroke yet, I can work on that while your puppy is here. I have a lot of fence panels I can set up in the house as a safe play area for the puppy. I will be able to bring the puppy out frequently. My children have had pets since they were born and I've always taught them to be gentle and to give space. They will not terrorize your pet in any way. I am a dedicated, loving pet mom. I will care for your pet with as much or as little attention as you require. If there is basic training exercises you are working on with your pet, I'd be happy to work on them as well. If you would like your pet to be bathed before returning home, I'll be more than happy to do that. I have a cavalier named Theodore. He's neutered and loves making new friends. He's very gentle and laidback. I have three inside cats, all fixed. They are also very friendly and have taken the entrance of my new puppy very well. My new puppy is an English Shepherd. He's very young right now and still learning the rules. He's super gentle, sweet, and overall just perfect. His name is Sherlock. All my pets are up to date on all medications and shots. Please consider me to be the loving guardian of your pet during the times you're away!

Danielle took great care of Milo, my 5lb Yorkie. He’s not great with other dogs but she made sure he was comfortable & had a great stay.

Danielle has cared for my toy poodle, Baboo on 3 long vacations and a few short stints. It's easy to see that Danielle loves animals, as she will knit with three cats on her lap and a dog at her side. One of the best ways to tell if someone's doing it right is to watch Baboo. Baboo gets VERY excited EVERY time she realizes she is going there. (I've had other caregivers that made Baboo whine almost all the way there.) Danielle's animals are well socialized and get along with Baboo. She has plenty of room for any dog to play inside or outside. Danielle is my first go to for my pets.

Information Danielle P. would like to know about your pet

Any dog I sit needs to be non-aggressive. Dog must be up-to-date on flea meds, shots, and wormings. Does your dog get along with other dogs and cats? Is your dog spayed/neutered? Does your dog walk on a leash? Let me know if there is any basic commands you would like me to work on. Would you like your dog bathed before going home? How does your dog like to sleep? What is your dog's feeding schedule? Does your dog have any health complications/requirements that I need to be aware of?

A typical day

I enjoy walking around my 2 acres with my children and my Cavalier, Theo. I'm sure your pet will love to join us.
