Pet care experience
I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and am now mom to two adorable bully breeds. I work from home with a flexible schedule. I have volunteered at shelters in Boston and Berkeley, CA. I will care for your dog (and your home!) like my own. I can also help teach good behavior such as sit, stay, and loose leash walking through positive reinforcement. I am unable to provide pet sitting in my own home due to the energy level of my own dogs, but I am more than happy to house-sit. I am very responsible and have worked for over 7 years in a higher education setting where I was responsible for handling stressful emergency situations. I am most available for house and pet sitting for 1-3 days, but may be available for longer depending on specific dates and location. I will need to leave for some portions of the day to check on my own dogs but I will be available every 2 hours at the minimum along with staying overnight.

Danielle was an awesome sitter for our dogs. She kept us updated with pictures and texts, she was super great about staying with them and extremely flexible with us when our vacation plans kept changing. We also had the potential of a hurricane coming in, and we felt completely comfortable knowing Danielle was there for our girls. I honestly wish I could give her 50 stars because she deserves every single one.
Thank you so much for taking our girls on a walk! They’re super tired and we laughed so hard at their notes in the report card and all the pictures.

I would like to know if they’re potty trained and whether they are dog reactive on walks. The more information about their temperament and preferences, the better. No breed preferences!
A typical day
I love to provide lots of enrichment for my clients’ dogs! Depending on your preferences and your dogs’ temperament, I am happy to play with them with toys, run around a fenced yard, go on walks, cuddle on the sofa, or anything else you would normally do with them when home.

My day job has some flexibility on timing and remote work but i typically go to the office 10-4 on a given day. I don’t take recurring walks because I like to keep my schedule flexible.
