Pet care experience
I have taken care of a variety of animals over the years, my first pet was a cat at age 5. And I knew then that animals would be a big part of my life as I grew up. I have raised several cats from kittens, rescued older dogs that needed love and attention and have most recently trained our Shiba Inu puppy to be a very well rounded pup. I have a loving husband and two children that love animals just as much as I do (if not more!) I am a Registered Nurse who has been caring for people in critical care for many years now. I have skills that I have crafted in nursing that are useful with animal care and that allows me comfort in caring for animals with special health needs. Kindness, compassion and a caring nature is what your pets deserve and how they will be treated while they are in my care.

I have a fenced in yard, two friendly dogs, and a spunky cat to keep your fur friends company if you need boarding services. They will also be able to view our pasture field with our barn animals for additional entertainment. We live on just under 4 acres in the country and its our little slice of heaven. If you would preferred your animals to stay at home I am able to accommodate that as well! I will treat your home with the utmost respect and will ensure your pets are well cared for and will attempt to keep your pets routines as they are used too. Please feel free to ask me about any dates that may not be available on my calendar and I will do my best to accommodate. I love to go on walks and hitting my daily step goals is a priority for me. Walking your fur friends gives me an opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, get my steps/activity in and enjoy the company of other animals. Your animals needs and care are my utmost priority. Ensuring they are cared for properly while you are away is my number 1 goal!

Please know that we have two children in our who will be looking forward to giving your pets love, let me know if your animal does not appreciate the high energy/love that children age 6 and 8 bring. Please let me know if your animals have never been around other animals as I will take special care and extra precautions with introductions to ensure everyone’s safety.
A typical day
I love to keep them mentally and physically stimulated. Exploring new parks for walks and if they come to my home letting them experience all the new smells a new house has too offer.

Availability
I am currently working as a Registered Nurse Monday-Thursday 830-5. My husband works until 3pm Monday-Friday and is home by 345 to let the animals outside/meet their needs. We are home bodies and enjoy spending our weekends at home on our farm with all the indoor critters and our farm animals (goat, chickens, ducks). Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays someone is home all day/night. Monday-Thursday my dogs and cat independently keep the couch occupied and warm from about 8-345. I am available on holidays as well. I am available daily and will be as flexible as I can be to assist your needs.
