At my place, I have an air-conditioned apartment and a small porch where your pet and I can relax. We can take walks in the neighborhood or along the rail trail, located right across the street. Leashes and tags are always a must! In your home, I'll be sensitive to your pet's routines and habits around the house. Likewise, I'll be careful about your privacy and the condition of your home. In either location, we can agree on a timetable so you can expect pictures and updates of your special pet.

A typical day
The fun activities depend a lot on what your pet enjoys doing! I love going for walks in the neighborhood, playing fetch in the yard, or snuggling on the couch with a good book or a movie.

Pet care experience
I've had two dogs of my own - one blind, and the other deaf. I am happy to manage your pet's quirks while we're having a great time together, too. Every pet needs something different, so I'll pay close attention to the details of your instructions. I'm also very focused on safety: leashes and familiar walks are a must! I am a teacher, so during the school year, I am available after 4:00pm to check in on your pet so everyone is happy when you arrive home. Also, I am booking now for summer - I would love to share my time off with your pets!

Danielle is amazing! She lived in our house with our FIVE animals. (3 cats and 2 dogs) Not only did she take wonderful care of our animals, she took wonderful care of our house. It’s so hard to know who to trust your house and fur babies to, and I can say without a doubt…you can trust them to Danielle! I will hire her again for sure!

I am writing this reference in regards to Danielle Maltais who has applied to Rover as a pet sitter/walker. I've known Danielle for many years. During that time she has been a pet sitter for my late dog, Beth - an Aussie shepherd mix. Additionally, when a friend passed, there was no one to care for her dog, Tyler, a pug. Danielle adopted Tyler and gave him a wonderful home which he shared with Danielle's own dog, Maisy - a beagle, dachshund, Jack Russell mix. Currently, Danielle often sits/walks our current dog, Freddy - a coonhound mix. Clearly she has experience with various sizes and temperaments of dogs. Danielle is always punctual and reliable. She walks, feeds and cares for the dogs at the appropriate times and places and according to the wishes of the owners. I highly recommend Danielle for a position with Rover.
Danielle is a wonderful caregiver for your fur fam. My two boys absolutely love her! Danielle is caring and conscientious when looking after my two canines.
