Pet care experience
I have over three years of pet sitting experience. My friends, family, coworkers, and acquaintances have trusted me to treat their pets like family while taking care of them, that being for a extended period of time or just for a one-time drop in visit. I have pet sat everything from infant kittens to elderly dogs to turtles, geckos and most things in between.
Reviews
Lexi warmed right up to Danielle, and we had no reserves about leaving her in Danielles' care. Lexi was fed, given a walk, and by the pictures that were sent, was truly cared for. We will definitely use Danielle in the future, and have no issues recommending her to others.
On the visit to our house before hiring Danielle, the pets (2 Siberians & a cat) all warmed up to her immediately and our cat is known to hide when people visit. The humans also liked Danielle a lot too. During her stay with our pets, she sent me texts and pictures each day. Misty (the cat) came out the first day Danielle was here, and our previous petsitters she hid for two days. When we arrived home, the house was tidy, and she left us a note about the pets. We couldn't be more happy with her care of our house and pets while we were gone.
Danielle recently took care of my lovely cat Eevee when I was away for a week long vacation. I cannot recommend her as a pet sitter enough. I got constant updates and pictures about how my cat was doing throughout my entire trip and came home to a very happy cat! Eevee has some dietary restrictions and Danielle did an excellent job to feed her appropriately and made sure that she got the best care. BONUS - I have 9 fish tanks and Danielle also did a GREAT job taking care of my fish. I sometimes think they're more difficult to care for than my cat, so I was happy that she kept them happy until my return as well. DANIELLE IS GREAT!

When I petsit or do any service I always ask for emergency contacts for the pet, their vet information and any other pertinent schedules details or medical details. If possible I also like to do a meet-and-greet with both pet and pet parents to give parents ease of mind when trusting me with their pet.

It is important for me to have contact information for the pet parent, vet office, as well as an emergency contact for the pet. Any behavioral quirks are also very helpful to know in advance. Age and breed are also good to know.
A typical day
I always try to take different routes on walks to keep the dogs interested. If they have training that needs to be reinforced on walks I am happy to do that as well and I have done leash training with dogs in the past. If parents allow a visit to McDonalds for an ice cream cone on a hot day that is always fun!

I work a full time job that is typically 8am-4:30pm. I am able work remote from your home for a few days if you want in-home extended care. Early mornings, late evenings, and weekends are available.
