Best at making pups feel at home!
Pet care experience
I am a 28 year old Pharmacy Technician who recently graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science and I plan on attending medical school. So the health and safety for anything with a beating heart is always my first priority. I’ve always been around a diverse group of animals my entire life. Growing up, my family had an array of different breeds of dogs with different personalities and needs that we learned to adapt to in order to suit their specific “doggy needs.” Whether it was a Beagle, Boxer, Labradors, Shetland sheep dogs, Shiba Inu, Collies, Cane Corso, or cocker Spaniel we always managed to accommodate for their specificities. Not to mention one of the Border Collies had two different litters of puppies that always needed to be tended to and provide the upmost tender, love, and care to! But this is just the beginning! I have been surrounded by cats my entire life. If it wasn’t a cat we purchased, it was a cat that provided us with multiple litters of kittens. As you can tell, I would never turn away the love and affection these kittens needed so I made sure they were always fed, warm, and was provided shelter. Rabbits were a big animal I’ve always managed to find myself purchasing as well. Coming home, I would always play with them and made sure they received as much time out of there cage as possible. From the age of 6 to 18, my family and I also had a horse who we couldn’t have loved more. We would actually worry about if he was enjoying his life a little too much because of the amount of love, grooming, and side treats he always received! More recently over this past summer, my friend had a feral cat problem in their backyard. One of the kittens was clearly ill and infected with parasites. I wasn’t about to let this little guy go untreated. So of course I took him in, brought him to the vet, purchased medications, and poddy trained him. I should note though that the first week being with him, being a feral kitten, he would always hiss and you could tell there was much distrust with him and myself. After treating his upper respiratory infection and parasites, I began noticing a change in him. He would cuddle up next to me and insist on being played with! Side note, I secretly search for feral kittens because I enjoy taking care of and providing them the love and giving them the health they deserve. Additionally, throughout college, my roommate adopted a puppy whom I have been living with for the past 2 years now. I guess I would consider myself a second mother to her. Whether it’s taking her out for a walk, feeding her, bringing her with me to stores, and of course letting her steal all of my bed at night, we managed to create an amazing bond together. I decided to join Rover because my love for animals grows infinitely. I have such a deep passion for animals that I actually visit my local Pets Plus weekly just so I can pay a visit to all there puppies! However, now that I am out of school and back home I will provide a flexible schedule for all your puppy needs! Because my next career step won’t occur until August, I am pretty much available every day for any time of the week until due notice. My ideal schedule for this summer will be from Mondays-Sundays from 7am-to 12am. As far as special skills, I would say some of the ones that are most relevant and stand out for this position would be the ability to multitask and the ability to be aware of my surroundings at all times. Because I grew up with so many different animals simultaneously on a street that was heavily populated with cars, I learned at a young age to have three eyes on your pets at all times. I am also CPR/BLS certified and am able to think strategically and calmly under adverse conditions or situations. I am re locating to Naples, FL. Just to clear up any confusion of why I have NJ information in my profile!
Reviews
Thanks Danielle for taking such good care of my cat, Turbo. She may have been overly shy during her stay but she came home happy and healthy.
Danielle was wonderful with my cat. She was very welcoming, and ensured Thunder adapted well to her new environment. She always kept me posted of her status and sent me the best pictures! I would definitely recommend using Danielle’s services!! Thank you so much for everything!! Cristina & Freya
Danielle was responsive and my dog really enjoyed staying with her. She kept us updated on how our dog was doing. We didn't have to worry at all while we were gone.
Danielle was amazing and very attentive to my pup Holly! She sent pictures throughout the day, and I could tell Holly had a fun day. Will definitely be booking with her again!

Animals to me are treated as they are; living breathing sentient beings and will always be treated with respect and love. I often take them for walks, play outside, give them the attention they need. I do have a cat who like most other cats prefers not to be around other cats, would rather mind his own business than bother other cats .

Information Danielle M. would like to know about your pet
I do not have any breed preferences. My love reaches out to all types! However, a couple questions that I may have before sitting your dog would only be if they are people friendly and whether or not they bite/bark.
A typical day
I can spend hours playing with dogs. As you know in my about me, I made weekly visit trips to my local pet store just so I could play with the dogs. As far as walks or even runs if your pup is active, I live in a residential community with plenty of safe sidewalks and paths that your pup would love to go hiking on. As far as other activities, I always had a knack for beauty and cleaning up animals to bring out the beauty in them such as grooming and even bathing if allowed!
