"The greatness of a nation can be judged by the way its animals are treated." - Mahatma Gandhi As a political science and international studies major, I truly believe in the above quote by Gandhi. Animals are an important part of this earth and their well-being is something I value very highly. I am a Midwest professional living in Maine with my husband. We both are HUGE animal lovers and enjoy ending our days by watching adorable and inspiring animal videos on The Dodo. Our current fur baby is a calico cat named Tawny (see profile picture). She has the cutest little paws and we often joke that she is our cat-dog as she enjoys playing fetch with her toy mice, treats, and hair-ties. She also gets along with all the dogs in our family. While in Indiana, I regularly dog-sat for my parents, my mother-in-law, my sister-in-law, friends and co-workers. Growing up in the middle of Indiana, I was exposed to and cared for many different animals and would love the opportunity to help you care for your pup(s).
