I am a dog lover and dog owner. I have a 6 year old American Staffordshire Terrier / Louisiana Catahoula Leopard Dog cross - Clyde. I encourage meet and greets before we finalize. I want to make sure we are all comfortable with our dog's interaction. They'll be spending a lot of time together. I also require a minimum of 48 hours notice to board. As a pitbull owner myself, I truly believe in nature vs nurture. These dogs are prejudged, and truly, they are wonderful dogs whose environments are largely the cause of any behavioral issues. Any dog can have an "aggressive" tendency. If your dog of any breed has ever had any behavioral issues in the past, I hope you will be honest with me about them so we can decide the best course of action. But I promise, I will not judge your dog by its breed. I welcome dogs that many people will not take on. I do require your dog be up to date on vaccinations and be altered. I do not want any intact males or females in heat in my home. For doggy day care I of course only intend to offer this service when I home all day and can provide the proper attention your pups deserve! I will not take on more than 2 dogs at a time, so that there would never be more than 3 total in the home. Wednesdays I am off work and am Available 7:30AM to 10PM. Saturday - 7:30AM - 10PM. Sunday 7:30AM - 10PM. For in-home boarding I am openly available so long as you understand I do work full time. Your dogs would be let out to potty and play in the morning, and evening. I work 7 minutes from home so the commute to and from work is not long. If your dog must be crated, you would need to provide their crate. My dog is not destructive and is extremely house broken. He can be left out with your dog, or I can put him in a seperate room for the day if that makes you feel more comfortable. However, I can not keep the 2 dogs separated the entire stay so your dog must be dog friendly and like to play. I am also available to transport your dog to the groomers, vet, park or doggy daycare/training classes for an additional fee - so long as you take care of financials with said offices in advance, or provide me with payment for them. I will not be left to cover any of these expenses. I love all dogs and welcome the privilege to spend time with them and spoil them, so size and breed are not important to me. However, as I have a 70lb dog myself I will only allow medium to large dogs. This eliminates the worry of the size difference, strength difference, and difference in play. *** I do have a cat who does not share the same fondness for dogs - but she would be locked up during visits. She has her own room that the dogs would not have access to. I say this only in the case that anyone would come into home and have an allergy would be aware. I allow dogs on the furniture and in my bed, so they would be welcomed and treated like a member of the family.
