Husband and Wife Animal Care Team About Us: My husband and I are animal lovers who have found ourselves owned by two cats and we crave some time with dogs. We are choosing to wait to add another member to our family because we have a little human on the way. Your dogs and cats are welcome guests in our household. I have been exposed to many different types of animals thanks to my parents being rescue fosters, and I have loved them all. As summer jobs, I worked in pet stores, kennels, and as a housesitter for pet clients. My husband has experience with small to medium dogs as well as cats, and loves when they jump into his lap. He is a sucker for snuggles and playing fetch. As a team, we smother them all with love and playtime. Care Times: I am a teacher who works 5:30am-4pm, and my husband works a 8am-5pm. For dogs in our care, this means I can let them out anywhere from 5-5:30 am and then will be home again by 4pm most days. On days where I have to be out a bit longer, I have time to swing by the house first so we can play in our fenced-in backyard. Drop Off and Pick Up Times: We allow drop offs to be scheduled on the weekends from 8am to 10pm and on weekdays from 4pm to 10pm. Please make sure to schedule your drop off accurately so that we are home and can let your pups/cats in to start their stay. If something happens, feel free to text and keep us up to date. We Do Have Cats We have two sweet cats. When we have your guest over, we will have our cats in the master suite of the house. If your dog is cat friendly, we will allow supervised hang out times. If you have both dogs and cats, we can accommodate them together in the main part of our house. Our Promise To You: We promise you any animal we take care of is guaranteed to receive ample attention and affection! We truly enjoy spending time with all pets and would love to have yours as repeat guests. Above and Beyond: I have enrolled in Rover's Protection Package. This means I have 24-hour access to veterinarians AND I have a Rover ID tag to put on your animal's collar while he/she is visiting. While I am confident there won't be any issues, I chose to enroll in these benefits because it is an extra level of safety for the animals in our care.
