Greetings! My name is Danielle, I am a life-long Seattlite, (well I have lived outside of Washington state a few times). I own a condominium in Des Moines that actually has a small fenced in yard. I am an avid animal lover! I currently have one dog, named Rico, who is part Pomeranian, part Papillion, and 100% cute. Rico was astray when I found him. He was covered with fleas, I mean hundreds! I took him home, gave him a flea bath, and the next day I took him to the vet to scan him for a chip; he was from south central California, and had been missing for two weeks! Long story short, the originaI owner decided that I could keep him. I have had him for 9 years now. I had an older Pitbull, named Bubba, from ages 10-15, until he passed away a year and a half ago. He was originally owned by a homeless person and had spent most of his life living on the street. I spent a lot of time with Bubba and eventually was able to take him to dog parks. He lived with Rico and our cat, Spike. The three became good friends. They traveled well in the car together, snuggled and slept together, would share food, went on camping trips, and even played together. I also had an Australian Shepard; she was a great dog! I was a runner back then, and I took her running every day. She was also my Frisbee partner, and would catch any other flying object too. She also loved to swim. I miss that girl! I have been told many times by people that own shy pets, that I am good with their animals, that their animals like me, even when the animal is known to not be particularly social. I can honestly say I love all types of dogs. I'm also strong and have never had a dog that pulls really hard on their leash knock me down. I promise to care for your pet as if it is my own, meaning, your pets' well-being, happiness, and enjoyment of their daily walks is as important to me as my own dog's.
