Pet care experience
I am a high school teacher and dog lover. I would love to utilize my time off in the summer by meeting your dog and engaging with a new walking buddy or helping you out with a drop in visit! Though I do not have any professional experience with animal care, I have volunteered with North Shore Animal League in their Anipals program that assists in placing adoptable pets in their forever homes for the last several years. Additionally I have had dogs my entire life and currently have a five year old Rat Terrier named Phoenix. As a dog owner I know how difficult it can be to be away from your best friend, so I’m here to make sure that both you and your pet are as happy as possible. I would be happy to send pictures and give any other updates that you desire. My availability is flexible would be between 3-11 during the weekdays and I am often available on the weekends when notified in advance. If you were to use my services I would like to schedule a meet-and-greet to ensure that I have the opportunity to discuss your dog's care, likes, walk preferences and more. Danielle is the first sitter I have ever booked on Rover and my roommate and I could not be more grateful for the loving, attentive care she provided our two cats while we were out of town for a week!!! She came to our home and met us and the boys before we left and the whole week we were gone she truly went above and beyond. Every visit she spent almost an hour with our boys, texted us pictures and videos of them playing, and she even gave us an extra visit for free to check in on a potential litter-box issue (everything ended up being fine). When we returned from our trip, the cats were happy, everything was clean (and our plants were watered), and she left US a thank-you note!!! Thank you SO much, Danielle. I have had some really unfortunate experiences with pet-sitters in the past and knowing you were there to check in on Killian and JJ gave me so much peace of mind!!! Danielle's love and care for dogs makes her the best person for this position. In addition, she has a drive and work ethic stronger than anyone I know. She is responsible, kind, compassionate, and gives 100% to whatever she is doing, no matter how big or small the task is.

If your dog is the type that enjoys going around the block once and using the bathroom on one particular tree- then that is what we shall do. Conversely if your dog enjoys running in a nearby park, we can do that. I am open to formatting a specific plan that fits your pet.
