Pet care experience
I have had animals literally my whole life. I currently have 2 dogs and 4 cats! I love all animals but am real experienced with cats and dogs. I am a certified dog trainer and work at the lenawee humane society as the behavior manager. I have experience working with all different breeds of dogs along with different behavior types, different ages, and different activity levels. I also have experience working with all different temperaments of cats as well. I have experience with administrating medications too and have owned plenty of senior dogs and cats. I would 100% treat your animal like my own and would do whatever needed to make them feel comfortable while you’re away. I have no problem coming your home so your animals feel more comfortable. If you need me to just keep them company for a night or take them on a walk, perfectly okay with me. I really am just looking to spend some free time doing what I love most! I kayak, paddle board, rollerblade, and hike with my dogs so if your dog is about that life, he/she might just want me to dog sit them. I never leave my dogs behind so I wouldn’t leave your dog (or cat) behind either :)

I would like to know if your dog has an behavior issues (separation anxiety, aggression to people, dogs, or cats, etc). I would like to know if they have any medical issues. I would also prefer your animal be up to date on vaccines if it will be coming to my house
A typical day
I’ll take your dog hiking on some trails or just an easy stroll around a local park if that’s the kind of walk they prefer. I will always take them to the lake if they are down to swim. I take my own dogs as well as shelter dogs kayaking/paddle boarding so if they want to try that out, I’ll be happy to show them. If they are more of the “let’s just watch Netflix and nap” kind of pet, that’s okay too.
