Hello! My name is Danielle and I am a Michigan transplant in the Durham area of North Carolina. I came down here to start a doctoral program at UNC, of which I'm in my 3rd year. I currently have two extremely friendly cats at home. I live with my fiance who works at Duke University. I grew up around cats and dogs and have always been a pet lover. If you're looking for a responsible and friendly person to provide great care for your cat or dog - look no further! I love going for long walks and would be delighted to have your dog join me. I have a very flexible schedule - so be in touch! My home is an end-unit, single-story condo in Durham, NC. The front patio has 3 steps leading to it and we have a large, fenced back porch that essentially is on the second floor level because our place is built into a hill. We spend a lot of time outside and suspect that your dog would like to join us in this safe and secluded area. Our floors are pergo laminate, we have rugs throughout the home, and plenty of open space for romping and play. I live in the Woodcroft area of Durham, NC (nearish Southpoint Mall) in a neighborhood with a combination of single-family homes and small condo units. I love living here because there are TONS of paved trails. The American Tobacco Trail is also nearby as are a few open fields. There is a busy street or two surrounding my neighborhood, but I don't directly live on a busy street, so your pet will be safe.
