I’ve had several types of pets including cats, hermit crabs, mice, fish, and hamsters. I have also worked at animal sanctuaries so I have a lot of knowledge about animal care and maintenance. Just being around an animal makes me happy!

If you’re looking for someone that will love your pet just as much as you do, Danielle is your girl! She has been my dog sitter on multiple occasions and not only is she punctual but she focuses her attention to the details! While I was away on vacation, Danielle would keep me updated on how my dog was feeling and she would send me little pictures so i could see how my puppy was doing! Danielle is not only the biggest animal lover I know, but she has plenty of experience working with all types of pets! She is one dedicated and delightful individual and if you’re wanting to put your pet in the best hands, Danielle is the pet sitter for you!

It's important to know your pet's energy level, any underlying health conditions, their demeanor around other animals or humans, and their preferences. It also helps me to know the size and breed of dog so I can determine the amount of space and care it will need.
A typical day
I like to spoil the pets I am petsitting for. New Orleans has some amazing dog parks, so I like to take the dogs I'm looking after to burn off some steam, if the owner allows it. After that, I love to cuddle up with the pet I'm watching and maybe give them a few treats. Long walks/runs are fun, but even better with dogs!
