Excited to meet so many great dogs!
Pet care experience
I have just moved to Manchester and am trying to decide if our new home will be suitable for hosting dogs. For now, I am offering walks, check ins, and up to 4 days in a row staying at your house. I had a dog growing up and my parents still have a wonderful one named Lindsey that is a Golden Retriever/Cocker Spaniel mix (she is the one in the pictures). I love playing with her and taking care of her. I am trying to decide now that I have a house if I want a puppy or to adopt an older dog, so I am happy to get experience here with all different breeds and ages! I can take them for walks, feed them, play with them, and watch them while you're away. Size is not a concern, I've spent time with my sister's Bichon Frise and my college roommate's Saint Bernard. I've never met a pup I didn't like (or one that didn't like me)!

Danielle took perfect care of my elderly pup! She spent the time to come and meet her ahead of time and asked excellent questions, so she was very clear on what Penny needed. She was prompt and provide a good communication. I would highly recommend her.
Danielle is wonderful! She came to our home in advance to meet our dogs and asked thoughtful questions about their routine and personalities. She stayed in contact while we were away, sending pictures and updates on how they were doing. She cleaned the house before leaving and even baked us brownies. We have two rescues with some behavioral issues that she was comfortable and effective handling. Definitely will use her again!
She took care of everything as asked. We will definitely book her again.

I always arrange a meet and greet before booking any walks, check ins, or stays, so that I know what the pets' needs and and the owners' expectations are. I am careful to ask about leash behaviors, interactions with other dogs if we walk outside, and what commands are used/known. Also, even though this service targets dog owners, I am more than happy to check in on cats, and some other small pets upon request!

Before sitting for a dog, I would like to know about any allergies or problems interacting with other dogs. I would also like to know about preferred toys and activities so we can have the most fun possible together!
A typical day
I would be happy to take your dog on a walk wherever is near you, whether that is just around the neighborhood or to a park. We will play fetch and maybe practice some tricks if they know them. Most of all, I will give lots of love and attention.

Availability
As a teacher, during the school year I will be unavailable for noontime check ins, but I am happy to do early mornings, most afternoons after 3 pm, and weekends. I am adjusting to my own new home, so I no longer will be accepting house sitting requests for more than 4 days, but long weekends or a few days in the middle of the week can be worked out!
