Hello! My name is Danielle, and I’d love to meet your pup! Spending time with animals has been an important part of my life since I was a young child. Dogs have always been a part of my family, and after losing my Rottweiler to cancer a few years ago, I decided it was time to turn my passion for animals into more something more than just a hobby. Losing my best friend left a huge void in my life, and I filled that by starting my own dog care business in Portland Oregon, walking as well as boarding in my home and in pet/ house sitting in clients homes. As my pack grew, I decided it was finally time to become a dog mom again and rescued a pup of my own. She LOVES hosting pups in our home, and has been a great companion on walks and adventures with pups that I host/ walk daily. The shelter named her “Sweet Pea” and she definitely lives up to the name! We also have an older, sleepy cat who has always lived with dogs. (I’m pretty sure she thinks she is a dog!) She minds her Ps and Qs and is friendly with dogs, and I do ask that your dog gets along with cats if they plan on staying in our home. I truly love spending my free time with dogs, and my flexible schedule allows me more freedom than most people to bring my pups on a mix of adventures, and not just a walk around the block. My partner also dog walks/ sits, and our opposite schedules mean that someone is always home. I’m comfortable with all breeds, shapes and sizes. When boarding in my home, my pups and I usually spend time outdoors hiking, visiting fenced In dog parks, and the beach. I live across from a large park that has a fenced in area, and I’m a quick drive to Quarry Hill run and Baxter woods. I looovvee taking pics of my pack having a great time, and will definitely keep you updated with photos upon request! I very recently moved from Oregon to Maine, so I have a lot of openings in my schedule. I look forward to spending time with your pup!
