Pet care experience
I have been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. My entire childhood was spent surround by pets of all kinds— hamsters, ducks, chameleons, Guinea pigs, and of course, dogs and cats. While I do have experience with nearly every type of pet (even rats), I have the most experience with cats and dogs. I have experience as a kennel manager at a boarding facility and have even job shadowed at a vet’s office, as well as volunteering for shelters for many years. I feel comfortable with dogs of all sizes and I love every breed! I have A 5-year-old Golden Retriever of my own named Daxter and he is the absolute joy of my life.

My husband is a veterinarian and we are very picky about who watches and walks our 2 dogs and cat while we are out of town. We received a recommendation for Danielle from a friend and we were not disappointed. She was very easy to work with and sent us several photos throughout the day to keep us updated. She also answered any questions or concerns in a timely manner. Highly recommend!
Danielle is fantastic! It was my first time using Rover so I was a little nervous but after meeting her I was immediately put at ease. You can tell she genuinely loves animals and she was great to work with. I will definitely be using her again!

I recently moved to Wilmington with my 2 labs. Oliver 8 years and Scooter 2 years. My neighbor gave me Danielle’s contact information when I inquired about needing help walking and care for my pups. Danielle has taken great care of and given loving attention, she is dependable and very trustworthy and I feel very blessed to have found her. I feel at ease knowing that my pups are in her company!

Availability
I am available starting June, Monday-Friday from early morning until 6pm. Exceptions can be made on certain circumstances. I work full time at an elementary school and need a source of income (& joy!) for the summer months.
