Pet care experience
There has always been a space in my family for dogs. Growing up, there was never a time I didn't have the companionship of a golden retriever. My current family dog, Blue exists as my best friend. My mom (the best human and dog owner) has been fostering through Southern California Golden Retriever Rescue the past three years, gifting me with the experience of all different kinds of temperaments, ages and conditions. A little bit about me: There is a huge soft spot for any kind of animal in my heart- life is a lot more fun that way. Movement lives at the forefront of my life (and is more fun with a furry companion). I just moved to Chicago from Southern California and I’m looking to continue my yoga teaching journey and other passions on the side! I love being outside- specifically in the sight of water and spend my free time walking, reading, swimming, or finding somewhere with music. This profile also includes my boyfriend Connor- who is a wonderful person inside and out. I am extremely jealous because my dog somehow found to love him just as much as me (and much too quickly shall I add). Together we have house/dog sat 5 places and 7 dogs in the Talega area in San Clemente CA within the past 2 months, finding that between our schedules and lifestyles, this extra work not only can we fit in but also love to do. Traveling is something we want to do our whole lives. In turn we want to provide a safe space for your pet while you travel so you can enjoy your time to the fullest potential! Between the two of us we have over 10 years of experience on and off dog sitting since young ages. This allows us to be comfortable with any kind of dog- old to young, big to small- and both feel responsibility for the safety and care of the companions we take on. We hope to be friends to both the dogs and the people we meet through this site. Connor is a current student at DePaul where he goes to classes two days a week. As of right now my schedule is extremely flexible- I’m looking forward to finding my foundations to my schedule but right now I don’t have a set routine. We both love being active so daily walks are an activity we naturally fit into our schedule with dogs! I am immensely organized when it comes to routines so any kind of consistency with food or pills will be at the forefront of my responsibilities. Connor and I are very great communicators and will always ensure that your dog gets their necessary attention, playtime, and potty breaks throughout the day between the two of us.

I had Danielle and Connor dog sit out two pooches for a week while we went to Hawaii. They were trustworthy, respectful and took excellent care of my dogs. I have a big dog ( Rhodesian Ridgeback) and a smaller dog (Wheaton terrier). They were walked, well fed and comfortable the entire time. They weren’t even that excited when we came home, so I knew they did a great job! I know Danielle through the yoga studio where we both work. She is an amazing yoga instructor and always so helpful in every aspect. I would highly recommend her and Connor for any pet sitting job. The only way I could enjoy my vacation was knowing that my dogs were in good hands!

When it comes to home and environment there is a huge understanding of respect of your space. If gifted with the opportunity to house sit we always want to leave the space cleaner than when we found it. We are comfortable providing our own food/ necessities, doing laundry before your return, and keeping your house neat and clean. If we are there to simply walk the dog we will always respect your space and privacy. We are very open to meet and greets along with walk throughs of your expectations to provide you with an experience that tailors your needs! We look forward to meeting you and your furry friends(: Any questions or inquires- we are always open to chat!

It is important for us to know your pets mannerisms, training, and routine so we can align our care to yours for a smooth transition. Any kind of enforcement you'd like us to implement is always appreciated. As we most likely will take your dog/dogs on walks it is also beneficial to know how they get along on a leash, with other dogs and people as well! Let us know how and what you feed them along with how they feel comfortable going to the restroom so we can avoid any kind of accidents in the house. If you have any specific medications to administer to your pet that is most helpful as well.
A typical day
Connor and I love exploring new places and neighborhoods, this area continues to amaze us. Lake walks are always part of our week so keep us updated if your pup enjoys/ gets along with any certain trail or space!

We are open to all 7 days a week! I will always take into account your situation and what you are comfortable with. I am an early riser so your dogs will always get their desired activities in before I start my day! I am truly looking to explore the area and get to know Chicago by foot and am so happy to do it with a furry companion by my side.
