UPDATE: We are now looking to expand to include more weekday dog walks as well as including weekday doggy daycare. We hope to get enough interest and inquiries for consistent weekly visits before making this full time. If you are interested in either consistent dog walks or consistent daycare please contact us to be put on our list! No commitment is required at this time and hope with enough clients we will be able to provide consistent weekday services. My spouse and I both have had dogs in our lives since we were kids. Unfortunately, we recently lost our long-time fur baby and while we are not ready to introduce a new fur family member, we do have space in our home and hearts to provide a safe and comfortable environment for our neighbor's fur families. We have lived in DC for over a decade and love walking around experiencing such a dog friendly city.

Had a great experience with Danielle and Charles watching our large rescue dog for a weekend. They were very easy to communicate with, did a meet-and-greet with our dog the week before, and kept us updated with photos over the weekend. Our dog seemed very comfortable with them. Would definitely use them again!
Tommy spent a weekend with Danielle and Charles and had a great time. We got plenty of photos and was well cared for!
Danielle and Charles watched my dog Olive while I was away for a wedding. They have watched Olive before and they were just as great this time as they always are. They send awesome updates and I know Olive is well cared for.
Danielle and Charles were wonderful. They took excellent care of Bella and loved on her plenty. I’m always as or more anxious as Bella about finding a new sitter and they made it such a breeze as well as updated me often which I appreciated. Safe to say, Bella has two new best friends :)

We specialize in individual client care and only accept one client at a time for all services! (Unless they come from the same family). We live alone in a large two bedroom townhouse that is dog friendly. We are less than a 2 minute walk to local hiking trails that we frequently visit. Our fur friends are allowed on all furniture and will always have a friend to cuddle or play with.

Please let us know if there are any behavior concerns, including reactivity or preferences and if they are crate trained. Additionally, any special feeding requirements, or unique character or physical traits that may have impact on their stay at our home. Knowing your dog’s preference for sleeping, eating, and play are very helpful in creating a comfortable stay for everyone. We try our best to keep to your routine so please let us know the daily schedule, such as what time they eat and how often they go on walks. We do require that we meet in person prior to boarding to introduce ourselves and your family.
A typical day
We specialize in individual care for each client and only accept one client at a time! We live very close to several walking and hiking trails. Depending on your dogs activity level we will go on either short walks throughout the day or long hikes throughout the DMV area during their visit. We enjoy the outdoors and time on the couch. Whatever your pup is comfortable with, we are here to help make their weekend away from you comfortable and enjoyable.

Availability
We would love to include your fur family in our adventures! I am a behavior therapist for children with special needs and my spouse is a partially remote contractor. We live very close to park trails and frequently take short trips to hike in the local DMV area. Whether you want your pup to get out and about or sit and cuddle we are available!
