As owners of two energetic border collie/blue heeler mixes, we understand the importance of proper exercise! Our dogs walk or run everyday and we also have a fenced in backyard where they play for hours on end. Dog walking will be no problem! For boarding: We generally don't like leaving our dogs for more than a few hours on weekends because they love to play and we both work doing the week. My husband and I have watched other dogs for friends numerous times and have had success. Our dogs tend to get along with everyone dogs/humans. In the event that there was an issue, we have the freedom to take our boys to their grandparents house! The longest time we have boarded another dog with ours was 11 days while the family was in Ireland. We had to leave the dog in the crate while we were at work (7-9 hours on weekdays), however, in the morning/evenings she had our full attention and care! As mentioned above, my husband and I work full-time during the week. Our dogs are never left for longer than 7-9 hours at a time. On the weekends, never longer than 4 hours at a time to help them let out energy. We like to take our dogs to our parents house where they can run around on 2 acres of land!
