Pets aren’t just animals. They are integral parts of our families, providing such joy and camaraderie. They usher in sunshine, especially on dreary winter days. As a high school teacher, I spend my days working with students to help them accomplish their goals as readers, writers, and critical examiners of our world. My goal as your pet sitter is to be there for your furry family member when you can’t be. My dogs Rusty and Theo recently passed away at 16 years of age, having lived such fruitful lives filled with snuggles and far too many treats. Although my husband and I aren’t ready to welcome a new pup into our home, we dearly miss the pitter patter of their sweet paws as they scurry throughout the house. Trust that if you hire me, I will care for your pets as if they were my own and adhere to any set schedules you observe. My 16-year experience extends to a variety of pets and ages, but I am particularly skilled in working with older dogs. They move at their own pace and need both patience and the right touch.
