I have had dogs, cats, birds, bunnies and hamsters in my life ever since I was a little girl. My pets were my best friends growing up. My current boy, Blu, is my first pet I have had as an adult, so I would say I have bonded with him the most. He is the sweetest dog I have ever had and just loves cuddling with his mama. Blu does very well with other dogs both big and small. He is very playful but very patient. We had taken in another small pit puppy temporarily to help out a friend, and he of course was very wild. He always jumped on top of Blu, would try to bite on his legs and face and Blu never reacted. So I assure you that your babies will be safe around our boy.
