Dog lover & care taker

Pet care experience

I work as a nurse part time and I’m finishing up grad school so I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule to care for your pets. I'm an avid animal lover and I have been pet sitting since I was 8 years old. I have my own home, and I’m willing to house dogs here, as well as take care of dogs in their homes or out for a walk/bathroom break. I have my own two dogs, and I promise when I take care of yours they will receive the same love, care, and attention as I give mine! If your dog has any special needs of special needs or accommodations I’m happy to meet these needs. I want all dogs to feel safe, happy, and be well taken care of when I watch them! Please feel free to ask me any questions about my care.

Danielle took care of my dog for a week while my family and I were on vacation. She warmly welcomed our old man into her home and made him part of their family. Pictures and updates were so appreciated. If you are looking for someone who will treat your dog like family and give them a comfortable living space, Danielle is your girl! Thank you so much!

Danielle was perfect to stay with our pups! She was super communicative, helpful and trustworthy! Will definitely reach out again if we need a dog sitter in the future!

Danielle was amazing!! My dog Ozzie is deaf and partially blind and she knew exactly how to make him comfortable. She was so patient with his quirky habits and kept me updated while I was gone. I was super comfortable leaving Ozzie with Danielle. She even let Ozzie sleep in her bed. This is rare to find a dog sitter that allows that. 10/10 I would highly recommend!

We have an electric fence at our home for our two high energy dogs. But we have multiple leads in our back yard, will keep your dog on leash while we play with them, or take them on multiple walks a day if that’s what they need. When I’m caring for your dog in your home, you completely dictate their schedule and care. I’m happy to comply with whatever your needs are for your dog in order to keep your dog safe and happy, and to give you reassurance while your away!

Information Danielle C. would like to know about your pet

Generally speaking, I like to know if they have any special needs or behavior issues. I would like to know what you would like me to do during drop in visits with your dog or if I’m staying in your home. For example, take them on a walk, play with them in the yard, feed them, where to leave them when I go, etc. If they are staying in my home, I like to know their daily eating schedule and exercise needs, if they have any accidents, and how they do with other animals!

A typical day

Playing fetch in our big back yard is always our favorite thing to do with dogs at our home. We also live in a safe, low traffic neighborhood so we always like to take dogs on walks. We have an entire room in our house dedicated to our dogs and the dogs we care for, with multiple sofas, chairs, and beds for them to lay in, plenty of water and all the toys! We usually utilize this on rainy or cold days when going outside has to be cut a little shorter.

Availability

With my work and school schedule I have a lot of flexibility to care for dogs. Between my wife and I, someone is always home to care for the dogs or let your dog out for a walk and bathroom break. Dogs are never left home alone at our house for more than 2-4 hours at a time.
