Pet care experience
Hello! I love animals and I'd love to care for your furry loved ones while you're away. I have had dogs all my life, big and small, and have personally taken care of my own dogs for the last 17 years. I have experience fostering dogs through Rescue Dogs Rock based in New York City and I have dog sat for a neighbor's dog while they were away on vacation. Although most of my experience is with dogs, I volunteer in the cat room at the Montclair Animal Shelter so I also have some experience taking care of cats and cleaning their cages. I work from home as a graphic designer so I am able to provide the attention your dog needs while you're away.

Wesley has a great time with this wonderful family. My puppy is 4 months old and A LOT to handle, but Danielle and her family made sure his stay was as comfortable as possible!!
Danielle cared for our 8 month old puppy for a week in her home and took fabulous care of her. Danielle took her for walks, did all the feedings, continued her training (including going potty outside!) and spent time playing with her. It can be tough to leave a young dog, but we were totally confident that she was receiving the very best care from Danielle. She even took written notes so nothing would be forgotten. I would absolutely ask Danielle to walk and/or dog sit our dogs in the future. She is a gem!

Is your dog friendly? Is your dog allowed to greet other dogs on walks? Does your dog like children? Is your dog fearful of anything? Unfortunately, I can’t board pit bull terriers. I know that these dogs can be some of the most loving and friendly but it was the one condition my husband won’t budge on. Apologies in advance.
A typical day
We will walk around the neighborhood or park. We can play in our fenced in yard. I prefer to avoid the Mills Reservation as there are too many dogs who run off leash.
