Pet care experience
I love all animals and can't wait to get to know your pup. I currently have a golden retriever mix and grew up with a lab, a pom, and yorkies, so I have experience with several breeds. My current dog has high energy and drive, so I am very comfortable handling a dog that needs a lot of mental and physical stimulation. I do nose work, lure coursing, barn hunt, and obedience with my dog, so I am very familiar with basic training and understanding body language. If you're training your dog, please let me know and I will continue to foster the good habits while you're gone! If your dog likes other dogs, I am happy to introduce them to my pup on a walk in a neutral territory. Otherwise, I can walk them alone!

I take safety very seriously, and will outfit your dog with a Fi GPS collar on our walks. I use a 6' lead with traffic handle, and if your dog would like to play fetch or run during a walk, I use a 25' long line lead (only in safe areas).

Let me know what training I need to keep up while you're away. Or if you want them to learn a new trick I have a lot of experience teaching things like, shake, sit pretty, high five, roll over, and more! Is your dog ever reactive? No worries, just let me know so I can manage the behavior. Allergies? No problem! Just make sure to provide me with the right treats.
A typical day
Walks, trips to Alki, fetch at the park, you name it I'll do it! I walk my own dog at least 3 miles every day, so am well-equipped to do the same with yours!

Availability
I am self-employed and have a flexible schedule! This means I can really work around your schedule, but mid-day is really when I can come in the most handy for you. If your dog needs a lunchtime walk while you're in the office, I'm your person!
