Does your pet need someone with them 16+ hours a day? I’m your sitter! I have an incredibly flexible schedule and I spend 75% or more of my day in your home. I do my best to never be out for more than four hours but I usually keep that under three. If your pet requires constant care i.e. I am unable to leave for at least a two hour stretch, I can provide that but I do charge at twice my normal rates. I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes and ages and I personally own a 85lb greyhound. I have had pets of all kinds since I was ten and I’ve been providing professional pet care since August ‘21. In addition to dogs of all shapes, sizes, and ages I have experience caring for exotic cat breeds and elderly cats. I have a Sphynx, a Devon Rex, and an Oriental Shorthair so I understand the kinds of care routines required by many of the purebred cat and older cats. I am also comfortable administering medications to both cats and dogs.

Danielle was wonderful! I really appreciated the daily updates and pictures while we were away. We came home to a happy dog and clean home. Prior to her house sitting we arranged a meet and greet and a time for Danielle to pickup the house key. Danielle was prompt both times. We are so happy we’ve found someone to care for our dog and home when we are away!

I always require a meet and greet to make sure that your pets and I are a good fit before we confirm any booking. When I pet sit I prefer to have written instructions that I can refer to to make sure that your pet is getting the care you expect. I always check in if I have any questions or concerns! Walks usually entail covering about a mile in half an hour depending on the energy level of the dog. For drop in visits I do any of the normal care tasks your dog might require including meals, play time, potty breaks, and short walks.

I like hearing about their routines, medications they need, any triggers on walks (other dogs, people, small animals etc), any quirks they have, and just general info about them that would make our time together go more smoothly.
A typical day
I do my best to maintain a routine when I'm pet sitting for your dog to make them as comfortable as possible during your absence so whatever play or exercise they're used to is my goal! When walking I try to go through local parks if any are close enough to visit so your dog can enjoy all the sights and smells that they offer.

Availability
I set my own work schedule as an independent artist so I’m not beholden to a standard 9-5 for how or when I provide pet care. This also means that I can handle animals who have very specific care needs or routines. I automatically assume that you want me to stay overnight with your pets for sittings and I have no problem with sharing a bed if that’s what they’re used to! For drop-in visits and walks I can schedule them at almost any point in the day so if you have late night or early morning care needs I am likely able to accommodate that.
