Pet care experience
Hi, I’m Dani! I grew up around animals, and currently have two cats and two 160 pound Great Danes, allowing me to be able to work with dogs of any size. You won’t have to worry about your big dogs pulling away on walks! I have been dogsitting, cat-sitting, and house sitting informally since I was 12, but like to use Rover for more frequent opportunities to work. I am incredibly enthusiastic about caring for animals, and am currently starting my third year at Cal Poly SLO studying animal science in the hopes of turning my love for animals into a career as a veterinarian. I have spent the summer working as a surgery assistant at Adobe Animal Hospital in Los Altos, which has given me plenty of experience in animal handling and care. I am able to administer all forms of medication, groom and bathe animals, and take dogs on walks. I also have experience caring for senior animals, chinchillas, rabbits and even chickens! I believe animals deserve as much care and love as possible for all of the joy they bring into our lives, and wish to ensure you know your pet is in good hands with me. I am currently living in San Luis Obispo for the academic year :)

Daniella was the perfect sitter for our two cats! She went above and beyond to make sure their litter was kept clean, they were fed, and that they were played with. Both our cats seemed to really like her and she always sent us detailed messages about her visits. Plus, she always included photos of them which made me so happy!
Danielle was an awesome pet sitter! She sent updates with pictures for every visit and was very responsive. My cat seemed very happy when I got back home. Would highly recommend~
Dani was excellent! She took great care of our cat over Christmas and we came back to a very happy boy. We loved the photos and updates everyday and felt very at ease knowing she was around! We will definitely rebook Dani in the future!

I do not offer pet sitting in my home, but am more than happy to stay over at your home to look after your pets. In your home, your pets will feel most comfortable and safe. I am able to stay for multiple hours during the day to keep your pet company, whether it be going on walks, playing, or just making sure they are doing okay.

I would like to know how social the dog is with other dogs and if they get along with most people so I know whether to take them for walks, jogs, to the dog park, or simply play with them. I have no breed preference, and can handle dogs of all sizes.
A typical day
I love to take dogs on walks to the parks around the neighborhood. Each animal has their own interests, so I am happy to do whatever activities they most enjoy.

Availability
I am currently taking classes at Cal Poly and working for Rover part time. My schedule grants me time for being able to do morning drop ins and walks, as well as overnight care if needed. Rest assured that if you book with me I will make sure I have time for the services your pet needs.
