What I love most about dogs is how happy they are and the unconditional love they give! I've learned from dogs that you have look at every day as a new day to do something amazing. The love that they bring to our lives definitely inspired me to become a pet sitter. I’ve always wanted to give back to them, so being a pet sitter gives me the perfect opportunity to do that! I really do consider it a privilege, actually. Plus, it’s great to give back to the community by providing owners with true peace of mind while they’re away. I grew up with both dogs and cats and have a long history as an animal caregiver. I have one cat now. His name is Manny; he's 4 years old and I adopted him from a shelter as a kitten. I've professionally walked dogs for 4 years and have been a pet sitter and trainer for about 2 years now. It’s been a great experience and I wouldn’t trade it for the world! When I lived in Michigan, I volunteered at my local shelter about 3/4 times a year, where I helped cleaned the areas where the dogs were kept and played with them. I loved my time with them! When taking on a new client, I always like to schedule a meet-and-greet. It’s a great way to make sure that we’re all a good fit for one another, and I always like to chat face-to-face with owners about their care expectations. Plus, I just love to meet new dog! I'm completely open to any breed, age or size of dog. Upon requesting my services, I have a thorough list of information that I ask to make sure that all bases are cover while walking or sitting your fur baby. I have a special place in my heart for Pit Bulls as they were my first dogs growing up. When your pooch is under my care, the happiness and comfort of you and your pup are my number one priorities. For me, that starts by always adhering to the instructions that you’ve given me to a “T.” No one knows your dog better than you do, so I always closely follow whatever instructions, schedules, and regimens I’m getting. That way, your pup feels right at home with me! In addition to that, I’m full of love for pups, so your pooch will be downright spoiled with me! Lastly, I’ll always send regular updates with accompanying pictures so you can see just how much fun we’re having together. I’m easy to get a hold of and will respond to any questions and concerns promptly.
